The Weekly Purge

Once a week, I 'purge' the refrigerator, getting rid of all limp or wilted foods, wipe down the shelves and drawers; then I can see what we need to replenish and it helps me w/ my grocery list as well as menu plan for the week. (It only takes minutes)

How Spring Cleaning Helps!

One doesn't have to spring clean all the time ........ in fact LESS if you are vigilant about picking up after yourself and having a place for everything. I find I can clean as I go on a daily basis, minutes here and there ........ and find extra time for workouts, and fun in general! (wrote blog: Spring Has Sprung" on 3-15-14) Hope you come read.

Track & Plan Food in Advance

When I track my food daily and stay in the budget; I also take a few minutes end of day to track out the 'next day'. This keeps me positive w/ my food, my choices, and I plan a weekly menu as well ..........It all helps to be organized and stay on track day to day! emoticon It is worth the time!

Prepare To Succeed-Not to Fail

Have your workout clothes READY and in sight when you wake up! Never ask your body if you 'feel' like working out; Just get those clothes on that you packed the night before and say good bye to distractions that might talk you out of yur action plan for success! emoticon

Only Piggy Knows!! (Your Secret)

If yu are like me, there are times yu manage to talk yourself right OUT of the workout!! ......... That's human, but I find 'human' doesn't win the prize! Sooooooooo I reward myself well ......... What I do IS ...... for every sincere workout I do ..... I put $1 in Ms. Piggy-Bank!! For ST, I add 50cents! ...... Believe me ....... this adds up AND causes yu to work out far more when a PRIZE is offered!! ......... (But keep it between yu and Ms. Piggy-Bank!) ........ shhh ... hh emoticon

Most of us get in a slump once in a while or get irked over "the scale' ....... To re-charge yourself, look back at a picture before you lost weight ........ What You Do FIRST Thing When You Wake Up

What you do FIRST thing when you get up in the morning can impact your day, positive or negative. Say aloud" I WILL make this a positive day today. Then make a plan and stick with it no matter what. Make each day count as if it is the only day that matters! emoticon

Kick In the Metabolism Early

I begin my day by drinking ICE water--(Keep a thermos by my bed) and drink abt 6-8 oz. when I rise. This gives a 'kick' to the metabolism and gives a nice flush to the bladder! ..... (Plus water does wonder for the complexion!) ..... emoticon (I always keep ice water with me and drink all day) ..........
