Get enough sleep each night in order to have energy in the morning to exercise or otherwise stick to your plans. Being overtired makes you vulnerable to the excuses we all make. Being well rested makes you ready to face the day.
I noticed in Europe that everyone uses the stairs and not the elevator unless there was a good reason. I walked so many stairs while there that I felt like a stairmaster queen! Nothing better to firm up and build muscles.
