I find by just saying the words out loud seem to affirm what I'm doing, for instance if I am going on a long bike ride I tell everyone I know and know that the next time I see them they will ask how did it go ?

Tools of the trade

Seeing actual work done. I use a M2 from Curves that calculates my calories everyday If I'm low at the end of my day I jump on the eliptical to finish. I use a odometer on my bike and heart rate monitor for my runs. At Curves I am on the Curves Smart and it tells me calories. This all pushes me.
