Imagine your are cheering on your most favorite fan (YOU). Shake your pom-poms and your tush. Imagine that you are a thin and energetic cheerleader. Turn on a good pick-me-up song and dance to it. No one has to see you while you are in your fantasy state. Try it when you really need to pick yourself up.
Fridays are a great day knowing that the weekend is just about here. Try to plan ahead and try to get some exercise into your weekend. You have more control over your exercise during the weekend than food sometimes.
If you feel like you're getting into a rut with the foods you are eating, try something different. Start small...experiment with a different fruit or veggie one night a week. Before long, you won't be fixing the same old boring food all the time.
Today is the day after another holiday which tends to focus around good, friends and family. Forget about what you did or didn't do over the weekend and just focus on today. If you take this process one day at a time, it's more bearable.
