When I go on long runs I take chocolate milk with me and pack flexibile ice packs around it in a lunch box. When I get back to my car after the long run, not only do I have a nice cold container of chocolate milk, but I also have some ice packs in case something is sore. Chocolate milk is thought to have a perfect 4:1 carb/protein ratio for recovery so it works great after a run!
I have a binder with plastic sheet protectors that I put all my SparkRecipes in. It works great and I can pull them out and write my modifications but also have a splatter guard with the sheets. Ihad been printing the recipes everytime I used them and it was such a waste!

Before you check out, Google coupons for the store you are at. If you're using a fairly popular website, like www.roadrunnersports.com, you can almost ALWAYS find a coupon code for a discount and/or free shipping.
I buy spices I don't use very frequently from the organic bulk food section. While they may cost a little more per pound, I spend .50 cents on a couple teaspoons I know I'll use rather than $10 on an entire jar I end up throwing away!
