Wall Pushups

Every time I take a bathroom break at work I do 20 pushups against the wall. I either stand vertical to the wall or, if I'm in a stall indicated for the disabled, I go at a 45-degree angle using the pole attached to the wall. Throughout the day you can get in 100 to 120 good pushups and your arms will definitely feel it the next day!

What comes in Must go out!

Being in the health care field I decided to treat negativity with a "mind field enema" ! Literally to remove the bad build up of (forgive me here) "crap". I would immediately counteract the negativity with a sudden influx of nothing but positive images of where I wanted to be, positive self-talk reinforcement from supportive friends at Spark People. Believe me - it worked and continues to do so. emoticon emoticon

Dance As If No One Is Watching

Each morning I plug into my iPod and dance in my backyard while the sun comes up. No one can see me since the yard is fenced, no one can hear me since it runs through my ear buds and I get a great workout dancing like I am a diva on stage - love it!

52 week Money saving Challange

I recently found this tip and am going to start trying it with 2 savings accounts I have. The way it works is you take the week number and add that $ amount to your savings account. I.E. week 1 {$1.00+$0.00=$1.00}. Week 2 {$2.00+$1.00=$3.00}. Week 3 {$3.00+$3.00=$6.00} and so on. Eventually getting to week 52 where you end up with $1378.00. The more you can save the more you can have.
