After much research, I'm loving the recipe management app "Paprika". It lets me capture recipes from sparkrecipes as well as many other recipe sites & my own personal recipes! With all my recipes in one place, I can build the week's meal plan & hit a button for a grocery list. The big plus for ME is that I can have everything offline, since I'm not always on wifi to use sparkrecipes. It costs $20 for MAC, $5 for iPad, $5 for iPhone or iPod and uses a cloud to sync everything together. Awesome!

Just discovered this at a friend's house recently. It's made by Celestial Seasonings and it's delicious! Spicy, sweet ... like having a warm, rich dessert without calories!

From now on, I'm going to sew the extra buttons that come with clothing onto an inconspicuous place on the clothing! That way, if a button gets lost, I'll immediately know where to look for a replacement!

I learned this one from my sister (who was a kindergarten teacher). If a clothing stain has an oiliness to it (examples: tomatoes, oil based salad dressing), gently rub some Murphy's oil over the stain, then launder as usual. Do NOT put this article in the dryer...let it air dry. That way, if the stain needs another round of Murphy's oil (it rarely does by the way!), the dryers' heat won't have heat-set the stain.

Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed, I go outside. Simply planting my feet on Mother Earth brings me balance, peace and centering. My soul rests for a few moments and then I'm ready to take on the world again!

I add approximately 1 tablespoon of organic, unsweetened cranberry juice to 8 oz of water. Refreshing and pleasant change from plain water (which I enjoy too!) If this is too tangy, you can sweeten with 1 drop of liquid stevia. Enjoy!

Oil of Oregano,3-4 drops, once or twice/day, keeps cold, flu, etc away; also kills the 'bugs' if they do get start to take hold (if you forget to take it). Put the drops in a bit of water, gargle & swallow. OR squeeze drops directly under tongue, hold them there a moment or 2, then swallow. Take acidopholus too - oregano is natural antibiotic Take drops before flying for protection from airborne germs in the plane, etc. Since doing this, I no longer get colds, flus or other nasty things.
