My secrets for 30 lbs off!

Now: I can see that my calves have grown.
Now: Eat whole grains
Now: Drink at least 8-10 cups H20
Now: Eat about a 2300 cal diet high in protein (100g)
Now: 35-55 min of exercise 5-6 times/wk.
Now: 4+ veg/friut per day.
Asking, when and how will I exercise, get my protein, water, veggies/fruit this week? Blogging: It keeps me thinking about it. 5 minute U-challenges with various spriends keeps me focused.

Toe ups in the shower

I'm a believer in efficiency so I try to incorporate exercise in general tasks. For example, since I love to stand in the soothing pounding and warmth of the shower I stretch that time a minute by doing 20 toe ups for strengthening the calves. --and then cool down with cold to wake up and start the day. Lunging while putting on deodorant or brushing teeth also works. Call me wierd but slowly building metabolism! emoticon
