This year I am using reusable bags from my grocery store as gift bags. They currently have some nice ones with a Christmas theme. They are not anymore expensive than the other gift bags and will be reusable.
Snacks and saving money
I fix my own 100 calorie snacks. I buy trail mix, crackers etc. in bulk and then measure out 100 calories worth and put them in snack bags. This is much cheaper than buying the already packaged ones. I also have some small plastic containers and make my own individual servings of salad dressing, humus, peanut butter, cream cheese to take with my lunch.
Take control and responsibility
The only person who can get you on the road to being healthy, losing weight and being active is YOU! YOU are in control and you are responsible for your body and your health.
Believe in yourself. Believe that you can succeed, and you will.
You decide what your attitude is going to be. It is all up to you. If you choose to be positive, you will be.
Everyone in the office brings treats when it is someone's birthday. I try to bring something healthy like a veggie tray, fresh fruit, or bagel thins. This way I have a healthy choice and can join in the celebration.
Think in the positive
You have to think positively. Don't let minor slip ups get you down and force you to think negative thoughts. You need to think in the positive.
Making You a Priority
You have to make yourself a priority. Time for you is just as important as any other appointment on your calendar. I have penciled in appointments with myself to make sure I get the time I need.
