Dance Party with Baby

Taking care of a baby can take up literally ALL your time if you let it- leaving no time to exercise. To fit in bits of exercise here or there, Ill dance, do squats etc. while holding baby. Its comforting for him, exercise for me, and fun for both of us! Ill also use his body weight lifting him to work different muscle groups.

Get help when you need help!

So many weight issues are more than skin deep- some are rooted firmly in emotional issues that could benefit from the help of a therapist, a helpful book, meditation or just a good journal. Especially if you are heading to an ED, get some help rather than spin your wheels!

strawberries instead of jam

I found that putting sliced strawberries on my toast with peanut butter was just as good as jam on toast with peanut butter! More fruit and fiber, less empty sugar calories- with great tasting results!

Wall sits while brushing teeth

Break your two minutes of brushing time into 30 second segments. Do a wall sit during the first 30, rest during the second 30, wall-sit during the 3rd segment, and rest during the last. It makes sure you brush your teeth long enough, too!
