Recently I got an android phone. My son suggested Pandora Radio - for the phone - I love it. When I go walking after school I listen to either Waka Waka station or believe it or not Irish Pub Rock Music - and get a variety of tunes that are fast paced and make for an effective cardio walk.
This evening I found the most amazing alternative topping for my baked sweet potato. I was cooking my chicken tenders in pineapple salsa and thought - why not. OMG - It is awesome.
Recently I started the mindless eating that occurs as your stress builds. Once I recognized it - I could deal with it - by packing carrots, celery, humus - and increasing my B-complex. Stress didn't go away, but now I could deal with it in a healthy manner.
You have the option to add additional meals -
When I know I'm going out for dinner - especially the holidays - I make sure I eat 3 or 4 servings of veggies before going to the hostess' house. That way I'm not starved and I make sure I eat my veggies w/out all the cheese, etc sauces that make the dinners special.
Whenever something needs to be done or taken somewhere, I volunteer usually calling out the phrase -" I'll do it, I need the steps". The more I move - the more likely I am to continue loosing and keep off what I've lost.
