I know insomnia can get the better of us, but get in the bed and go to sleep! Kick your computer and TV out of the bedroom if need be. The later you stay up in that over night cram session, catching up on youtube videos, just lounging around, or watching infomercials--the more likely you are to eat for the sake of eating. It might help to throw in a brief, but vigorous workout, before or after dinner to burn some energy and help you fall asleep faster.
Look at the bigger picture for the New Year! No need to focus on the numbers on the scale. If you commit to trying a healthier life style for atleast 30 days, results will be even more satisfying, enforcing, and encouraging! I committed to to experimenting with a vegetarian life style for the next 40 days! What have you done?
Just a quick tip to allow small indulgences without having to avoid the man in your life who likes to always take you out to dinner, or bring home your favorite fruit smoothie from the local ice creamery .
