Keep a clear glass jar somewhere you see it all the time and put in it a penny for every 1lb of weight you lose. Seeing number of pennies in the jar growing is excellent motivation, just be sure to take them out if you gain - not wanting to remove any pennies is a great way to keep yourself on track!
Huddle with all of your teams every day. It will serve the same purpose as a Huddle in Football. By the time you have gone to each team you will have read/ and heard in you head Go Team! Woo Hoo! You can do it! Make it Happen! Even (especially) on days where I feel like a lump the Huddle gets me up and exercising.

There is no "secret" to losing weight with SP. SP isn't a diet, it's a weight management program which gives you the information and the tools you need to change the way you eat, cook and exercise, while supporting you every step of the way. I found SP purely by chance, through a reference in a magazine article. I've lost 17 lbs. so far and plan to lose at least another 13, then learn to maintain that weight loss for the rest of my life.
Every time I empty my 8 oz. glass of water, I refill it right away. Then it's sitting on the counter conveniently reminding me to have more every time I pass by, and I find it easier to drink a whole glassful if it isn't quite refrigerator cold.
My favorite eating out tip is to split entrees with a friend. If you want different entrees split the entree and have it put in a doggie bag first. That way you do not have the temptation to eat more than you want.
