many people need workout partners to have motivation, but workout buddies come and go. when no one is standing by your side, you still have to move your butt. resolve inside yourself to make changes and those habits will stick and you wont need someone to push or pull your as much
unleash your inner child. go to the play ground with your kids and run around with them.....and get on the swing set (the one for the bg kids of course) and swing swing swing. you will find that you use your abs, legs, back, and arms to swing. and it will also put a huge smile on your face! but remember, share the swing with the other kids!! :D
put on your mp3, some dance music (i like 90s booty music), close all of my curtains (cause i dont want to get embarrassed) and i clean and dance my booty to a smaller size!! my kids think i am hilarious and dance too!! we work up a sweat and get a nce clean house at the same time.....sorta like burning double calories!!
dont be afraid of the mirror! the mirror and the camera are your best friends! pick out the little changes in your body daily and that is motivation to keep on!! today, i noticed that my legs have less cellulite than last week!! those lunges and cycling are helping BIG TME!! :)
i live in a military community that offers a child's room where you can work out AND watch your kids. i either bring friends with kids, or try to make friends there, knowing that it is a comfortable environment makes it easier to want to show up and workout cause you will always see a friendly face!
when i am on the treadmill, i pop on some motivating music and imagine that i am running away from the old me and my bad habits. sometimes it even works when i am in a bad mood, i am running away from my bad mood and i seem to be able to run farther, faster!!
