Need motivation to workout?

If you find you have a hard time finding the motivation to workout on your scheduled days or just at all try this! Buy a calender and put it up in your room or where you would like. Write you workout schedule on there, go do it, and when you come back put a smiley face showing how completing that workout made you feel. The next time you feel like skipping a work out look at the smiley face and it will remind you how good you felt after finishing it. And why skip something that makes you happy? :)

Boredom eating

I'm horrible for eating because I'm bored, mostly at night. What I do when I get that craving for sweets or my favourite food in the evening is grab a big glass of water, turn on my favourite song and do something! Sometimes I do crunches, stretch or just plain dance like nobody is watching! I get so caught up in what I'm doing that I forgot I wanted food, plus I can feel good about burning a few extra calories :)

pop troubles?

Having trouble dropping pop cold turkey? I deffinetly did so i gradually stepped down the sweetness until I was drinking just water. The next time you go for a can of pop, pour a glass of water and use some of that Mio drink flavour or Crystal light. Make it as sweet as you want then gradually add less and less until your drinking just straight water.

Each day

I used to leave the gym tired, worn out and feeling like a failure because I was out of shape (I would always quit going after those thoughts started coming). I changed the voice in my head so it now says "I am healthier than I was yesterday!" For me this creates a feeling of a mini goal that I have accomplished and it always makes me feel great and motivates me to work out tomorrow to get even healthier! There are no small victories when it comes to your health!
