I have found that pam and those other aerosol cooking sprays has butane in them! So instead I went to my kitchen store and brought a sprayer that you have to pump, put your olive oil or other favorite oils in there, pump then spray... much cleaner for your body and lets get away from those chemicals!
I use to try and force myself to use the eliptical machine and the treadmill. I did this because I knew it burned more calories and would be better for me than just walking. Well, I could rarely force myself to do it and would constantly just stop working out all together. Then I realized that those machines would could burn more calories BUT I would actually have to use them! So, I decided to just do what I enjoy... walking around the block... That's something that I'm able to stick to
It has been the most helpful for me to look at my weight loss as a goal to be healthy instead of just lose weight--that is just one of the benefits to living a more healthy lifestyle which is a bigger picture--more like a marathon.
Great way to breaking a plateau is booking a vacation with your sister in law. You see that plateau just crumble as you push that much harder with your workouts and diet just for the end result. YOU LOOKING BETTER THEN HER ON THE BEACH.
Wear your 'best' exercise clothes, regardless of where you exercise. If you have only one good outfit wash it more often if needed. Get rid of the old ripped faded baggy clothes and wear something that feels and look goods and makes you feel like an athlete.
