I freeze my meatloaf in muffin tins and then put them into a big freezer bag when frozen. This makes it easy to pull out what I need for a meal and reduces leftovers! Make whatever recipe you want--freeze in the muffin pan and you can cook it in the microwave quickly!
If you can possibly do it--walk instead of taking the car. My dentist is about 1 mile away--so I walked it today -- BOTH ways! Yes--it took longer BUT I got my cardio in without going to the gym. Look for these opportunities and allow yourself the time to do it!
Find a buddy--I'm lucky to have 2 daughters in Sparkpeople so, even when we can't be together, we challenge each other to do 30 min of cardio or track food. Knowing they are trying to be healthier helps me to work hard!
I've "talked" about losing weight for a long time and suddenly, this summer, just decided to DO IT. So I track my food, do SOMETHING every day to exercise and don't make any excuses any more. I cannot tell you what changed except my determination. So--JUST DO IT!
My daughter actually got me started here so having a partner--someone who will encourage and motivate you--really makes a BIG difference for me. I know she is trying and that makes me want to try, too. (She's getting married in November and I want to look good for her.)
