Drinking a cup of warm or hot water seems to help delay the desire to nibble here and there. The warmth relaxes my stomach, and sipping replaces the grazing habit. I have also been trying to get at least half (four cups) of water done by noon.
A small road runs past my house. At the right time of day it is almost deserted. With a small timer in a bag, I go out and walk a small loop over and over while talking with one of my kids. The timer is always ready and insures both them and me that our walk will not take up too much time out of our schedules. Even the route is repetitious, the conversation is not. Best of all the convenience means we get more fitness minutes more often.
