I may have already posted a secret like this, but it's worth repeating: every time you huddle with your team, pick a couple of blogs to read and respond to.
Write the year "2013" on at least 10 of your checks. My mom taught me this trick years ago and now I no longer accidently write a check with the wrong year on it.
Keep your thoughts positive!
This isn't as easy as it sounds, but it is doable. Try to stop the negative self-talk immediately and replace it with a positive statement.
For example: If you find yourself saying, "I can't do this - I am just such a dummy!" - turn it around by saying, "I know I slipped up, but I am sure I can get myself back on track - I am a smart person!"
Treasure your pets while you still have them. Their stay with us is so short.
