DO the 28 day bootcamp videos to learn form!

I love the bootcamp videos! less then 10 minutes but most importantly they explain slowly and simple the best way to do the exercise! I am new to freely lifting weights (dumbells are all they use) at home and this has helped immensely! I think all new to strength training should do this challenge first!

never skip breakfast

if you is like me who is always running low on time just make your breakfast at night then in the morning just heat it up and go. never skip breakfast because you are more than likely to over eat at lunch time. emoticon

Having a Buddy

I am forced to get out of bed at least three times a week because I have a buddy that drives us to the City to workout. I get myself out because I know she is driving so far to get me going. emoticon emoticon

Dining vs. Eating

Eating while seated at a table is important for keeping me focused on the pleasure of the food I am consuming. I have found I slow down, chew my food and appreciate the nutrition of my meal.

Refuse it! Lose It! (RILI)

Counting the ww points/calories of food I refuse or resist (e.g. cravings), really helps me to avoid temptation especially at this seasonal time.

Book Deal

I love mysteries and make a deal with myself that I can only read them on my Kindle when I'm on my treadmill. When the book gets intense I always workout longer! emoticon

Using a Timer

My very favorite way to stay on top of clutter or get myself to work on a task I'd rather not is to use a timer. I set it for 15 min. & see how much I can get done during that time. After it goes off, I can either do it again or often do something else for 15 min that is more fun & then repeat again. It works!

Be Cheap! View daily calories as cash, NOT an unlimited credit card!

View your daily calories as the amount of cash you have in your wallet; NOT an unlimited credit card!

Limit calorie spending to the amount of cash you PRE planned to spend. Eat filling foods that are low cost/cal. Don't waste calorie money on junk that leaves you w/ buyers' remorse & extra pounds.

And count EVERYTHING; it's easy to nickel & dime yourself out of your weight loss.

Bonus: intentional movement & exercise become money in the bank!

Live cheaply, spend wisely, be healthy.
