I journal everything I eat (even a piece of gum) & drink. I track calories, carbs, fat g., protein, dietary fiber and sodium & tally it up every night. Than at the end of the week I tally up all of my weeks totals and find the average. Sometimes you'll have 1 bad day but within the entire week you can still be right on target. It has helped me a ton!
