Moderation

Learn moderation in all areas of your life.....
eat healthy but enjoy what you eat, don't eat something just because it's good for you....
Find a way to exercise that you enjoy..find people who you enjoy what they do or stand for.....have fun most of the time.

Never give up

No matter how bad a day has gone never give up your dreams and goals...it took me 3.5 years to loose 200+ pounds , and some days I just did not think I could go on but I did .......so no matter what never ever give up......each day is a new start at working towards your goals....

Spaghetti squash

I love spaghetti squash, I use it in soups and stews and just with lean protein, it's low cal and very filling.....
give it a try and see what you think, it's not just for tomato base sauces

My Birthday

Tomorrow is my Birthday and I'm going to celebrate it all week end....with lots of fun exercise and a modest fondue meal.....I'm so happy that I have now have a happy and healthy life to celebrate

spark stages helped me lose 200+ pounds

I get asked what I did to loose so much weight....I started by using the spark stages, just followed them, some seemed a bit silly but did it any way, it gave me a good foundation to my healthy life style, the weight came off, I was never really hungry and I'm sp very proud to say today I am 200+ pounds lighter, living a healthy and happy life....could not have done it with out the spark stages and all my friends here in SparkPeople.....

Eat less exercise more

I know this has been said before but the true way to loose weight is eat less exercise more...eat the foods you love just watch the portions.. the weight won't drop off but slowly it will if you stick with it...make it your life style , work on a plan that fits how you live ....it really can work..find what makes you happy and helthy...
