Mix it Up

I pick something emoticon that is motivating for me at the moment. For example I might only let myself read a special book while working out on the stationary bike. When the book is done, I might set a new mini goal of sticking to 30 minutes of cardio 5 times a weeks for 3 weeks before I can get some cute new exercise pants. Mini goals help.

Many gyms track members attendance for there own stats and for people who can be reimbursed through insurance. I love to get mine in 3 month increments and see it in writing, how many times I made it to the gym. My gym always uses florescent yellow paper so it is a thrill to be handed a sunny bright paper with the information in writing. If my attendance is waning, I see a short list which motivates me to fill it next time and have 2 pages! emoticon
