Sometimes it's really hard to fit in everything we have in our lives. So now when I want to catch up with friends I make dates for walks or hikes so I can get in some quality time with them and burn some calories. My husband and I also try to do at least one physical activity together every week. It's great to kill 2 birds with 1 stone.
I take the stairs every time I can. I work in a building with a lot of floors and have meetings all over the place, so I take the stairs up and down to every meeting and use the restroom on a different floor so I can get in a few extra steps. When I can't take the stairs (running late, walking with other people, etc) I make time later in the day to take the stairs however many floors I missed.
