Exercise Promotes Portion Control

I notice if I don't work out, my appetite increases greatly and I can consume huge amounts of food in one sitting. However, after a good workout (and it doesn't matter how hungry I am afterwards) I can only eat proper portions. When trying to overeat, I literally get the urge to puke. As time goes on, I have the desire to eat small portions and often (2-3hrs). This method is said to increase your metabolism, but in actuality I only begun to eat this way because my body signals me to do so :).
