Sometimes spending a little extra money on a bag of apple slices or a kit with hummus and pretzels is okay. If these smaller portion sizes (or convenient yet healthy foods) allow me to stay on track, it's worth it! Plus, it can actually save me money because they don't end up in the trash!

Even if you feel ashamed about a slip up it's far better to embrace the mistake and move on then try to ignore it. It also helps when you want to see what is working and what isn't further down the road.
It's so easy to get caught up in all the things that weren't perfect - the snack you ate too much of, the workout you skipped, the bad day you had. What's done is done, so change this moment into the life you want to live. Get up and go for a walk or do a few crunches or push-ups. Prepare a healthy snack to have ready in the fridge. Let go of the past!
