Jack LaLane power juicer

I've had this juicer for several years but wasn't using it. Recently with the popularity of juicing I was considering getting one of the new popular ones and remembered that I had this one. I am so glad I didn't get a new one. This one is really awesome, very powerful and easy to use and clean. I saw one in the store today for the same price I paid and the same design. They haven't changed a thing and I'm glad because it works GREAT!

Ninja slow cooker

Absolutely love this product! Easy to use, easy to clean and performs as it says. My old slow cooker used to heat unevenly and would burn on one side if you didn't keep an eye on it. In the ninja, you can brown your meat in the same pot and then set to slow cook. you can also put the same pot in the fridge. Love it!

flavored mini wheats

I tried the blueberry frosted and the chocolate mini wheats. I recently started eating the regular ones, never l iked them before but find now that they are not bad and very filling, good amount of fiber. The flavored ones have a very artificial and plastic flavor. I should not be surprised, but I thought I'd give them a shot. Would not recommend.

keep moving while watching TV

I use a mini trampoline to walk in place or jog or dance while watching TV. I also wear a pedometer so I can be sure to log in at least 10,000 steps every day.

Fitflops

I don't know if they actually work out your legs but they are super comfortable. I can walk around in them all day and they still feel great.

Never Again!

I'm not an advocate of giving up foods you love, but I over did it with one of my favorites - white castle chsbrgers. I felt so gross after, plus the burgers are just as good & less calories. So, I started a list of things I won't eat again. I'm going to post it, look at it & remember the feeling.

Do 100 of something...or 50, or 10

Whatever your fitness level, do 100 reps of something. Even if you have to do 5 reps at a time and it takes you all day. I do 100 crunches or pushups or lunges everyday whether I go to the gym or not. Sometimes it takes 5 minutes, sometimes I fit them in between other tasks. Everyday, no excuses! emoticon

leave off the dressing

If you put lots of tasty things in your salad, you don't even need dressing. I had a salad of romaine and arugula, topped with mango salsa, onions and avocado. Yummy!!

tackle procrastination

If you walk into a room or look at an item and the first thing you think is "I need to...", stop and do it if you have the time (if it will take 10 min or less). If not, put it on your calendar as a task and stick to it.
