Love yourself

I wrote a blog recently that truly summarizes my new philosophy.

Be kinder to yourself than you would be to others! You are the only you that you have! Don't worry about the scale, but whether you made a plan and stuck to it. Did you do something good for you today! That is way more important than any number on a scale or blood pressure cuff! Keep your streaks and be proud of the little things you do!!!! emoticon emoticon Cheer yourself on!!!

Five positive points to ponder

I have written down 5 positive points about myself that I keep on my mirror and read daily. Mine are simple such as a good mother, wife, teacher, conscious of my water and eating and proud of exercising more. It takes 5 positive comments to negate a negative one in kids, so start out the day positive! emoticon emoticon
