Mindful walking

I take off my shoes and socks. I plant my feet securely on the ground, take three deep breaths then start walking as slowly as I possibly can noticing every moves my body is having to make.
I try to concentrate only on my body and on my connection to the ground.

Boosting my exercise

I use my IPad to watch my favorite shows while working out on the treadmill. When a commercial comes on, I accelerate the pace to a fast walk or run. This gives me a better workout and shifts my focus to my body rather than the commercial itself. :)
