This is so cool for mixing up your ST workouts, especially if you don't belong to a gym and need stuff you can do at home. It lets you choose how long you want to workout, what parts of your body you want to work out, fitness level, etc., and generates appropriate workout options.
How I stay motivated to work out every day: I post my intentions and my workouts every day BEFORE I do them. That way, if I don't do them, I've basically lied...and I don't want that...plus I know I'm going to have to fess up in my next day's post if I don't follow through...so it keeps me honest!
If I've used up all my day's calories but still have the munchies at night, I make a cup of hot herbal tea, sweetened with stevia. It is sweet and comforting, occupies the mouth and hands til the urge to munch has passed, and even fills the belly for a *little* while.
I find that the more I encourage and motivate others (not only with words, but by example), the more motivated I stay to keep reaching for my own goals. Plus, it's just good karma!
At a dinner out or party, I am following this rule: Make a healthy choice for my main meal, eat light the rest of the day, and then for any foods I *want*, but don't *need* (sweets, fatty food, etc.), I take 2 bites and stop. As long as I know I can have a tiny bit of whatever I want, I can do it!
I have at least one protein shake/smoothie every day. I love chocolate Shakeology, but you could use whatever you prefer. After blending my shake, I drink most of it, but I leave out a bit and pour into a single-serve container and freeze. Then when I'm done eating for the day, I have a frozen treat...
I plan my meals for the day on my SP tracker. Then I print out my daily report and keep it with me. I cross things off as I eat them. Then if things change, I go back and write them in. Then I make end-of-the-day adjustments to check on my targets.
