I set a timer for 15 minutes when I sit down at the computer. When the timer goes off it is time to get up and do something while moving about. Tada---more housework don. If you want, time the housework for 15 minutes and then back to the computer.
This is what keeps me from getting off track. If I wait until it's time to eat to see what I can or can't eat, I get stressed and have a very high potential of screwing up.

What I miss the most in low calorie diets is dessert. I cannot eat just one or two cookies. For 100 calories, I have a sixteen ounce root beer float. I use diet root beer and one-half cup (100 calories) of slow churned low fat vanilla ice cream. Mmmmmmm delicious and extremely satisfying!

Whenever I turn down a high calorie food instead of feeling deprived, I note it in my food diary and the calorie content of that food. On days where I very nearly don't go to the gym I note that down also. At the end of the week, I tot up how many extra calories I would have consumed/ not burned and...
