Natural thicker for soups and casseroles

For recipes that call for flour to thicken soups and or casseroles I add about 1/4 cup of cooked sweet potatoes. For example, I decrease the eggs and flour in a salmon casserole and replace the flour in brocolli soup with chopped/cooked sweet potatoes.

Forget the Thermostat

Instead of touching the thermostat when I get cold, I get up and do a little exercise. Just 5 or 10 minutes of walking in place or chair exercises warm me right up and I stay warm for awhile. It's a good way to save electric AND get some exercise in.

Making Hard-Boiled Eggs

Instead of boiling eggs, heat the oven to 325 and put the eggs in a cupcake pan and bake for 25-30 mins. The shells come off amazing. I saw this on pinterest and had to try it and it worked like a charm! Best thing I found on pinterest.
