ADD NUTRITION PLUS NATURAL THICKENING

I add pureed beans (northern, chickpeas, etc.) to soups and it adds flavor, thickening, and nutrition.

Browning Meat

Most meats can be browned without adding additional oil to the pan since they have a little fat in the meat itself. If it is extra lean, a spraying of cooking spray is all that is needed. When making soups, I brown the meat in the pan I make the soup in so I don't have to wash an additional pan. Brown meat and onions and then add the liquid and the rest of the ingredients.

Exercise time

I change from work clothes to exercise clothes as soon as I get home from work. I exercise the same time every workout day and I don't plan anything else for that time on my workout days. Putting on my exercise bra, my running shoes, and watch is a big part in getting the exercise done.

Breakfast favorite

A whole wheat sandwich thin, turkey sausage patty, and 1/4 cup of liquid eggs makes a fast, lowfat breakfast. Add a piece of fruit and you can even take it with you. Much better than the drive through.

It was low priced on amazon, has great power, no bags but no mess to emply, light weight, and just what I was looking for. It can switch from hardwood floors to carpet with a flick of a handy button and has a long power cord.

Checking Prices

I check major purchases for online prices before shopping for major purchases like appliances, vehicles, furniture or electronics. Then I watch the sales and know if something is really a great buy or just a sales ploy. I recently saved on a vacuum cleaner, a wireless printer, and a pressure canner.

Using Sparkrecipes

I enter any of my personal creations on the Sparkrecipes calculator and do not share them until I have "tweaked" them. It gives me an opportunity to check on calories and servings and taste without others suffering through my experiments.
