Change it up to switch it up

Every 6 weeks, I try a new strength training workout. I collect ones that look interesting/fun and put them in my workout binder. That way my muscles don't get "bored" and stop challenging them selves. And, of course, it keeps my mind from getting bored, too :)

It's never too late (in the day) to exercise)!

I always heard that exercising first thing in the morning was the best b/c you're more likely to stick to your routine and you get it out of the way. This never worked for me, maybe b/c I'm not a morning person. I work out usu between 9:30 pm and 11pm, while the kids sleep, and it works for me!

Strength Training is Key

Strength trainiing is changing my life for the better! I alternate days of working my arms and doing some light cardio with days of strengthening my thighs and abs. It's helping me lose weight and feel good about how my body looks! In fact, I even blogged all about it.
