Enter all of the foods you think you will eat that day into the SparkPeople tracker as a snack making sure everything balances out and you're within your ranges for calories and nutrients. Then when you eat that food move it to the meal where you ate it and validate the quantity you ate.
We have all heard it's important to drink at least 64 ounces of water a day. It's easier to do this if you treat a "glass" as more than 8 ounces of water when you drink it and have at least one "glass" with every meal and snack.
Sometimes it's possible & beneficial to do two things at once. For example you can play an audio book or enjoy music while walking or watch TV while working out. However there are times when it pays to single thread. For instance you should not be talking on a cell phone or texting while driving.
I am probably one of only two people I know that HATES mayo and salad dressing of any kind. Instead of salad dressing on my salads I put Walden's Strawberry or Blueberry Calorie Free Syrups.
Love to read but don't have time to do it or not as much time as you would like. Hate to exercise but need to do it. I combine the two and play audiobooks while I walk. This allows me to spend the time I would be reading walking instead.
