Keeping electric bill down

My family have learned to keep the lights off in rooms your not using or if the sun is out and it's bright enough for you to see ( daytime obvisously). Also if you can make due with your ceiling fans, or opening a window (cool breeze) instead of running your air. If it is to hot for those things, set the temp on your unit so that it will not come on to frequently but as needed. Our bill has gone down from $140 to $50 and my husband is extremely hot natured. Lol good luck!

Food preperation

I've learned that preparing my food ahead of time makes dieting and transitioning into a lifestyle change easier. If I want to grill chicken for dinner the day after, I defrost and season at night. That way it's ready to grill tomorrow (george Foreman or outside grill).
