Room-temp water

Of all of the tips I learned while losing weight, drinking my water at room temp was the most life-changing for me! I had been sipping my cold water all day until I discovered (learned from a seasoned dieter) that if I drink my water at room temp I could gulp it down in seconds. 2 litres of water has been a minimum of water intake for me since then...for the last 2 years...and it is EASY.

Flaxseed

I try to put ground flaxseed in at least one food item each day; yogurt, meatloaf, casseroles, soups.

Not Wasting Food

We've found one of the best ways to save money is to make sure you have a plan to use all the groceries you've bought. Wash and cut fruit and store in single serving containers. Prep veggies and ingredients at night for the next day's meals. Keep lots of single serving tupperware containers for leftovers. Having a solid plans helps keep food and leftovers from rotting and decreases the temptation to eat out!
