Sticky Notes

Put out the money and buy some sticky notes--go home, write down your goals/rewards/etc, then post your sticky notes around the house where you know you will see them and have to read them.

They say it takes 30 days to learn a new habit or way of thinking, but it takes lakes with this trick.

When feeling stressed, "tag off" to your spouse/partner and step away for a moment. If you are an only parent, step back for a moment and count to yourself to allow yourself to calm.

Goal Setting

Rather than focusing only on the large picture--take the time to sit down and write down short term goals to help you reach your target weight, strive for them, and reward yourself when you reach them. emoticon
