I have the perfect way to know exactly how many ounces are in the food I eat, ....., wait for it, I Weigh IT! I stopped eyeballing my food, the looks the food give me are deceiving. I stopped guessing, and now I am 38 pounds lighter in matter of 3 months.
Keep your water in the most beautiful, pitcher you can find. It will serve as a visual reminder each time you open your fridge to drink your water. It also lets everyone friends and family know that drinking your water is important and it takes center stage.
Dress the part when you are exercising, you are a lean mean, sexy getting the weight down machine. Get clothes that fit well have style and for me lots of Color. Just as you would not go to a potential job interview with out the perfect out fit, plan your outfit's for your daily exercise. There is something about see the outfit planned and ready etch day for the next. Losing Weight is "WORK", DON'T SHOW UP OUT OF UNIFORM. You will be comfortable, and able to move freely for the task at hand.
Not all foods are created Equal, if you are confronted with a food that you feel may put you over your maximum calorie Count, but you feel you have to have it. Share your food with a friend, or your kids. Have half of the portion and give the other half away, not only will your friends or kids loved you thought of them but you have cut half of the calories.
Don't forget to let your kids help. They have tons of energy and would love to help mommy and daddy with their workout. Let them help you design a just for fun workout, it could be a crazy dance, a slilly walk, or a outdoor spin of hide and seek, the beauty of it they helped, and you have a fun extra workout to burn extra calories and some great little coaches that will in most cases give you a hug, and say "Good Job."!
