Try homeade bean paste on white corn tortillas! They're healthy and nutritious.
You can add your own veggies (like peppers) and spices (like cayanne)!
Just fill up a pan (half way or so, depending on serving of beans) and add the beans.
cook for 4 hours, until really soft and mushy.
and then mash until you get a paste.
You can buy white corn tortillas already prepared.
I will earn success by eliminating one food a week, and alternating between the foods I eliminate.
This week I eliminated cheese.
What I mean is, eliminating one food source gives you a challenge, you must make due without that food.
For me, it's scrambled eggs without cheese, and winter salad without cheese but with winter veggies!
Or try eliminating toppings like shredded cheese, or melted cheese, or even dressings like ranch. USE herbs instead!
All this water!
I carry two 16.9 fl oz water bottles with me a day, one frozen, one not frozen. This ensures I get enough water each day, because I'm always thirsty.
Hot apple cider. It is good and it leaves you feeling refreshed,!
Drinking something really sugary, or even just bad for you can open up to some other unhealthy choices later on in the day.
I like to drink chocolate milk, for example, and I usually have at least a glass full.
I know it's bad or semi-bad, so before I drink a glass of chocolate milk, I fill the cup that I'm going to use full of water.
Drink the whole cup of water before filling it with chocolate milk or some other sugary drink, that is...
If you're still thirsty after drinking the water.
So you're in the middle of this excercise video, and you're out of breath, you really can't breathe, and you want to stop-
WELL don't stop! What you can do? Pause the video! And Lower yourself to the floor doggie, table, or plank style, ( arms straight, knees bent).
The ONLY size you can't change is your shoe size.
Guilty As Charged!
You know when you really want something sweet, and you really can't stop it, even when you've been doing so well?!
Instead of reaching for a sugary glazed donut, or a milk chocolate candy bar .... go for a small cup of low fat hot chocolate!
SUCK IT IN!
During intense and enduring workouts it's not always easy remembering to breathe, so I plan breathing intervals (for like 10 minutes) between each segment of my workout.
Breathe in deep through the nose, hold the breath, try to inhale again through the nose (if you can't it's ok), and then exhale deeply through the mouth.
This helps you to remember to breathe, (no kidding) this helps you control breathing, and it improves your breath quality.
