Create a reward schedule

I created a list of rewards for each 10 lb milestone. Each reward is better than the previous one. For example, my rewards are: Spark Goodie, new workout gear, dragon figurine, leather jacket, professional family photo, and a full spa day when I hit goal. My reward for my stretch goal is a Past, Present, and Future diamond ring. Now that's worth some time on the elliptical!

Stop having the kids fetch things for me

Just that simple. I no longer ask the kids to refill my coffee while I'm in the chair with my laptop. If I want the remote or a movie put in the player I get up and do it myself.

I only watch Dexter while I'm on the treadmill or elliptical

I started watching the Dexter series while walking on my treadmill. I got very interested in the series. Now I do not watch it in any other room. I can only watch an episode if I'm on the treadmill or elliptical. Wanting to see the next episode has actually motivated me to move on days when I wasn't so inclined!
