Look at your program and don't just do your favorites. We need all three types of activity to be healthy and fit. Try to do 2 of each of type of workout each week for a minimum. What is neglected gets weaker.
Some mornings I dread a workout. I tell myself I should get dressed and go anyway if I do five minutes it is 5 minutes more than I wanted to. Usually after 5 minutes I am committed to finishing the workout. Sometimes you have to take life 5 minutes at a time.
Along with strength and cardio training for my body, I've been doing daily facial exercises with the Facercise video. I've gotten rid of the double chin and jowls that had started to develop. My whole face is feeling and looking more toned. Inexpensive facelift....woo hoo!
The secret to my success is simple...get up early and exercise in the morning! As a single mom, I am too busy in the evenings with making dinner, helping with homework, etc. to get my workout in so I made the decision to get up early. It is really paying off!
I found that while exercising and listening to music actually help me finish the routine becasue it doesnt feel boring anymore. stairing at the wall on the treadmill actually became interesting. since im litening to music i preocupied my mind with music and drwon out evrything else. it works.
I get to a point where I am comfortable and do not push myself, I'm afraid to push harder because I do not think I can. When I do say, "it's time, just do it" I find that I can push beyond where I think I am. Just pushing myself that little bit more increases the intensity without making my workout longer but I still start to see losses again.
