Slowly move forward, never move backward

Do you feel overwhelmed by the challenges ahead for getting fit and healthy? The secret is to start with the tiniest improvement and then slowly, steadily add to it, never moving backwards. For example, the first day do just one sit up. Day two add another. Every day add one, never subtract! - and soon you'll be doing a full routine. Same with food: Day one: Eat half a bagel, instead of a full bagel. The next day, eat a quarter bagel, day three, no bagel. Slow and steady wins the race! emoticon

Don't Judge Yourself - Just Move Forward

When you have eaten more than your recommended calories or skipped a workout or ate that full bag of chips, don't beat yourself up! Still be sure to track whatever you ate, but move on. Everyone slips. Everyone! Keep your overall goals in mind (go over them after the slip-up) and look forward to the next day. No matter how many times you "fall", you can always get back up and still be successful.

Easy Way to get 10 Mins. in

If you get up and dance to just three songs a day, you'll get in your 10 mins.. Do it to 9 songs and you've gotten in 30.. Most songs average 3-3.5 minutes.

Exercise Motivation

The first thing I do when I wake up, is put on my exercise clothes. Since I am dressed and ready to go, it would take more effort not to exercise than to go ahead and do it. I complete my morning exercise program before I start my day..

Motivation

I stay motivated by chanting to myself all the reasons why I am doing the excercise. "because I want to look better and feel better, because I want a smaller me, because I want to not be tired at work, because I deserve this! Because I want women to look at me and say DAMN! Because I don't want to feel fat and disgusting anymore. Because life is too short to be fat! emoticon
