If you are getting started in the summer- there's nothing better than starting a garden. You have the Fitness minutes of digging, planting, weeding, etc and the freshest produce. Don't have room for a big garden? Try container gardens or plant between your flowers. It's worth the time & effort!!
Divide cookie dough into cookie sized portions. Quick freeze these in a single layer on a cookie sheet and once frozen, portion into freezer bags. After sealing, write baking directions on each bag. Bags of one or two are great for a quick fix, bags of 6 to 8 are great when you have company!
Leave little sticky notes around for instant motivation and support. Write notes like "You can do it", "Inspire someone", "Show off that smile" or "Someone is admiring you today" and put them in the glovebox, medicine cabinet, bottom of cereal box or other places you don't look every day!
If you are headed on a trip (graduation, family reunion, etc) be sure to plan ahead. Visit one of the mapping services on the internet and look at your route along the way for places to eat that will help you stick to your lifestyle. In addition you can check for rest stops that will let you walk!
Now that you've hit the weight you'd like to maintain, be sure you watch your portions. When eating out or at those family dinners where someone fills your plate for you- make sure you aren't eating more than you want to eat. Don't be afraid to make 2-3 meals out of "one", you'll be glad you did!
Have a summer party or a graduation coming up? Take the time to plan ahead for not only that day - but that week. Bump up the cardio a notch- watch your food intake on at least a day or two that week to allow for that little slip that might happen the day of the party.
