When you want to eat that treat and you know if you do you will regret it later: Log it in your food tracker, look through the calories and nutrition of your treat. Imagine how your treat tastes and feels in your mouth. Don't remove it from your log. Keep it there and go do something else. When you track your next meal or snack you will see it there and remember you never ate it. Either delete your treat or eat it then. Chances are the craving is gone and you can delete those empty calories!
Find an exercise that you love and is fun, even if it is too easy for you. On the days where you just want to say forget, do that execise to keep your momentum. My "go to" exercise is zumba wii or dvd. The easy level is much too easy for me but when I don't want to do anything, this works. I've done something to at least maintain.
A couple of times when my weight has stalled, getting religious about my water intake and pushing it to 10 cups a day got things moving again. Also, adding brewed green tea helps give you something to sip on and boosts metabolism with many antioxidants as well.
I am doing the 30 day squat challenge, and honestly, after working all day, I do not want to go home and do 50+ squats a day along with my other exercises, so everytime I go to the restroom at work, I do 10-15 sqauts....this is slowly adding up and I can already tell that my backside is getting firmer!!!
Just one teaspoon of cinnamon has about 5% of your daily fiber quota - it is a great choice for adding flavor and fiber to your morning yogurt, toast, or smoothie.
1/4 a pound loss after working hard all week does not sound like a lot. BUT take a stick of butter and put it under your chin. WOW! a quater of a pound makes a big difference. Celebrate every loss not matter how big OR small!
When I feel the urge to have a snack I do not need or a craving, I go brush my teeth and make them feel nice and fresh, That way you do not want to ruin the clean taste in your mouth, and if you did go ahead and snack it would not taste the same as the toothpaste taste would interfere and food would
