1/4 a pound loss after working hard all week does not sound like a lot. BUT take a stick of butter and put it under your chin. WOW! a quater of a pound makes a big difference. Celebrate every loss not matter how big OR small!
When I asked a young woman who had lost 200 pounds how she did it, she said that she treated weight loss like a job. No matter how she felt, she showed up. She showed up at the grocery store to buy the right food, she showed up to track her food, she showed up to walk, etc.
There is not a lot of things good about being alone. Sure you need quiet time and time to do the things you want to do around the home. But 24/7 alone is not good and when friends or family come over you can laugh and have fun together. Never stay alone, join some clubs, sport events, visit friends and family you need to be around people and interact to be healthy. We are not made to be loners so live your life with people and laugh, stay healthy, smile.
To polish silver: Wash items, then place on aluminum foil in the bottom of a pot. Add a baking-soda solution (¼ cup soda, a few teaspoons salt, 1 quart boiling water) and cover for a few seconds. The result? A chemical reaction that gets the black off the gravy boat.
