Sometimes its just too hard to fight with my kids about eating healthy but I know in order for me to reach my goal I have to stay on track. So I buy easy things for them like Spaghetti O's and other soups they love as well as lots of cereals and oatmeals that are so easy even they can make it. If I want something healthy and know I'll have to cook them something else i just heat up some hotdogs or mac n'chees for them and then I have my quick chicken salad. It all works out and w/o too much work
I keep these always: baby spinach, Turkey bacon, tomatoes, light miracle whip, watermelon, bananas, corn on the cob, chicken [already grilled and chopped-you can find bags of them in the freezer section @walmart] pretzels, Bunny Wheat bread, soup, yogurt, grapes, lowfat cottage cheese, salsa and tortilla chips, shredded cheese, reduced fat sourCream, oatmeal, granola bars, popcorn, diet A&W rootbeer, frozen yogurt ice cream, Turkey Pepperoni, Wheat English Muffins, Laughing CowCheese, fresh vegs
When craving a good ol' fashioned candy bar I reach for one of two things: a granola bar [I especially love Sweet & Salty Almond or Chocolate Chip], OR I grab an ounce of Flipz [Chocolate Covered Pretzels].
