Protein wards off hunger

When you reach for a snack try protein instead of sugar laden snacks. Oscar Mayer Mesquite Turkey SLices are good...6 slices at 45 calories, or a couple of tablespoons of cottage cheese or Fage 0% Greek Yogurt. When we eat proteins in our diet, the stomach secretes digestive acids that begin the process of breaking down the chemicals. Protein stablizes blood sugar.
