I sew a lot. sitting long periods isn't good. I set a timer to go off every 30 minutes. I get up and move about for 5 to 10 minutes. Moving can be getting water, playing with my cat, restroom break, walk outside, anything that requires movement and standing up. It helps my arthritis!!! :)
I keep a resistance band and a folder of Nicole's printable resistance band workouts in my drawer at work. It is easy to pull out and do on my breaks or even between calls when it is slow as I work night shift in a call center

I am thankful to God who gives me the strength to do what I have too each day When you get older and have medical problems it is not always you choice on how you do things. I push myself each day as far as I can in everything I do. I may have to cool it some day along the way but that is life.
