The 15 minute wait..

On the days that I tend to be hungrier than others, I use the following to help squelch over eating. When I feel hunger between meals, I drink a glass of water & wait 15 minutes before eating anything. After that 15 minute wait, if I am still feeling hungry, I make my snack a fresh fruit or veggie serving with a little bit of protein...
